The PatiBase Adoption area is provided to help pets find new homes in a safe, ethical manner that prioritizes animal welfare.
These rules apply to all users who create adoption listings on PatiBase, apply to listings, contact listing owners, or take part in the adoption process.
By creating an adoption listing on PatiBase or interacting with adoption listings, you are deemed to have accepted these rules.
1. Purpose of the Adoption Area
The PatiBase adoption area was created to support the rehoming of pets to safe and responsible people, without any commercial purpose.
PatiBase may not be used for animal sales, commercial breeding, pet shop sales, or brokerage commissions.
The fundamental priority in the adoption process is always the animal's health, safety, welfare, and access to suitable living conditions.
2. Animal Sales Are Strictly Prohibited
Animals may not be sold through PatiBase.
The following behaviors are prohibited:
- Requesting a fee under the name of adoption
- Requesting a deposit, reservation fee, or advance payment
- Requesting a commission
- Imposing a mandatory donation or payment under the name of food/expenses
- Conducting breeding, farm, or pet shop sales
- Pursuing commercial sales with expressions such as breed, puppy/kitten, special breed, or similar
- Selling by directing users outside the app
- Using adoption listings for commercial advertising
PatiBase may remove listings it considers to involve sales or commercial purposes, restrict the related account, or permanently close it.
3. Accuracy of Listing Information
The user creating an adoption listing is responsible for ensuring that all information shared in the listing is accurate, current, and complete.
Where possible, the following information should be stated honestly in the listing:
- The animal's species
- Breed or estimated breed
- Age or estimated age
- Gender
- Neutering status
- Vaccination status
- Microchip status, if any
- Health condition
- Known illnesses or special care needs
- Behavioral characteristics
- Compatibility with other animals or children
- City and district where the animal is located
- Reason for rehoming
The listing owner is responsible for any consequences arising from incorrect, misleading, incomplete, or withheld information.
4. Photo and Video Rules
Photos and videos used in listings must be real, current, and belong to the animal in question.
The following content is prohibited:
- Using photos or videos belonging to others without permission
- Representative images that do not show the actual animal
- Misleading images or images of a different animal
- Images involving violence, mistreatment, neglect, or abuse
- Disturbing, inappropriate, or manipulative content
- Images containing phone numbers, prices, sales redirection, or commercial advertising
PatiBase may remove inappropriate images or have the listing taken down.
5. Animal Welfare and Responsible Adoption
Animal welfare is the priority in the adoption process.
The user publishing a listing should make reasonable efforts to ensure that the adopter can provide suitable living conditions for the animal.
The adopter accepts that they will be responsible for the animal's care, nutrition, health, safety, and living conditions.
The adoption decision should not be made hastily. Where possible, the parties are advised to discuss the following:
- The animal's daily care needs
- Health history
- Vaccination and neutering status
- Feeding habits
- Character and behavioral traits
- Home environment and safety conditions
- Compatibility with other animals or children
- A veterinary check, if necessary
- Expectations for communication after adoption
PatiBase advises the parties to act carefully, transparently, and with animal welfare as the priority throughout this process.
6. Responsibilities of the Adopter
A user who wants to adopt an animal through PatiBase:

Handover, care conditions, communication, contracts, follow-up, or disputes between the rehoming party and the adopter are the parties' own responsibility.
PatiBase is not responsible for disputes, care neglect, health problems, return requests, or similar situations that may occur after adoption.
If you believe an animal is being mistreated, neglected, or is at risk, you are advised to contact the relevant official institutions, local authorities, or competent bodies.
