Account & Data Deletion

This page explains how to delete your PatiBase account and the data associated with it. You can delete your account directly inside the app, or request deletion by email if you no longer have access to the app.

1. Deleting your account from the app

The fastest way to delete your account is from within the app:

Open the PatiBase app and sign in to your account.
Go to the Profile tab and open Settings from the top right.
Tap Delete Account at the bottom of the Settings page.
Check the confirmation box and confirm the action.

2. What happens when you delete your account

Your account is immediately deactivated and you are signed out on all devices.
Your account is held in a pending state for 30 days. During this period you can restore it by signing in again.
After 30 days, your account and personal data are permanently deleted. This action cannot be undone.

3. Data that is deleted

Once permanent deletion completes, the following data is permanently removed:

Your profile information (name, username, email, phone, profile photo)
Your pet profiles and their photos/videos
Your health records, documents, and reminders
Your posts, comments, stories, and likes
Your adoption and lost/found listings
Your message content
All media files you uploaded (photos and videos)

4. Data that may be retained for a limited time

For legal obligations, security, and abuse prevention, certain records (such as transaction/log records, abuse and safety records, and records required by law) may be retained for the applicable legal retention periods or anonymized. See our Privacy Policy for details.

5. If you cannot access the app

If you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, you can request deletion by email:

Email: info@patibase.app
Use the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
Write from the email address associated with your account; additional information may be requested to verify your identity.

After identity verification, your request is processed as soon as possible and within the applicable legal timeframes.
